If you’re an android user, you’ve probably sorted through the app store looking for all of the perfect additions to your device whether they are games or even office applications. There are however a few very specific applications that you need to keep your decide properly up and running. Web browsers are just one of those things that you absolutely have to have, and if you don’t, well, it’s going to get to be a problem. That being said, you not only need to make sure you have a web browser, but that you have the right browser. Something important to note is that some browsers are extensions of their desktop counterparts, and some are made specifically for the Android device. The default web browser works to a point, but sometimes you want a little bit more.
The first one we are going to mention is Google Chrome, and quite frankly, it is the most popular (with good reason). It is so popular in fact that there is a good chance it came pre-loaded on your device from a tablet distributor in Miami and you simply didn’t notice it. Now above we mentioned that some browsers are simply extensions of their desktop counterparts, and this one is certainly a good example. It has many great features, the most notable of which is the ability to sync your mobile tabs with tabs on other devices. In other words if you are viewing something on your Android device and want to switch to your computer, you can do so easily. Any Miami wholesale tablet distributor will carry devices that are more than capable of this.
Opera Web Browser
This is one browser that many people tend to push to the side, even a tablet distributor Miami is Opera, but it is popular enough to have gained an Android port, which is still an extension of the desktop counterpart. As with Chrome you will be able to sync your bookmarks across the different deices that you own, but it does have some features that the desktop version simply does not. For example, Opera Private Mode and Off-Road mode allow you to not only browse discreetly, but with as little data consumption as possible. This is great if you have a limited data plan and you will probably find that the Opera browsing experience is much faster here. Something to note is that Opera becomes more popular on the mobile platform because unlike the PC counterparts, browsers do not rely on proprietary plugins to make the experience more palatable, so to speak.
If you want to take the mobile portion f your experience a step further, then you might try Opera Mini which in many ways is similar to the standard version of Opera, but uses 90% less data by employing a form of image compression that gives you the web surfing you need without eating through all of your data. It won’t be idea if you are at home using wifi but if you are on the go, it might just be perfect.
Firefox for Android
Mozilla’s Firefox was originally an offshoot of the Mozilla browser which, by itself, was an offshoot of the old Netscape Navigator. Firefox for Android takes the experience mobile and offers a number of different features. The privacy options keep you from being tracked, and you can even sync with the desktop version of Firefox if you use the same browser in both places. The biggest difference between Firefox and some of the other options is that it tends to focus on swiping gestures and simplified interfaces.
So all of the ones we mentioned earlier are simply lighter weight version of desktop applications, but what about something that is designed specifically for Android? That would be something, wouldn’t it? The Dolphin Browser has always been a mobile application though it does have a desktop counterpart that can sync with the mobile version. Along with the typical browsing features, you have options like:
- Voice Search
- Gesture Controls
- Custom Theme Engine
- Customized Browsing
The best part is that all of this is free AND the application has adapted with the evolution of Android. If that’s not a good reason to give it a try, we don’t know what is.
There are several browsers, as you can see, but choosing the one that has the features you need is absolutely essential. Your mobile experience will depend upon your choice, and to be honest, much of that experience will depend on you choosing a browser that seamless functions and immersion. Try the one you like, or try them all when you get your device from a wholesale tablet distributor Miami.
